EpiClose Plus

The EpiClose^™ Plus is CardioDex’s most advanced solution for femoral artery closure. The deployment methodology of the device relies on balloon inflation/deflation techniques that apply selective pressure precisely over the puncture site, with the addition of an “energy” application stage, which accelerates hemostasis.

Hemostasis after a procedure is critical for patients who have been treated with anti­coagulation medication. The anti-coagulants dilute the blood thus ACT levels are very high, as a result the closure process takes a longer period of time and is more prone to complications. With the use of the EpiClose^™ Plus, the hemostasis process is indifferent to ACT levels.

The EpiClose^™ Plus addresses both the diagnostic and therapeutic markets.
